In the beginning God said, “let there be light”

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

In the beginning a child opens his eyes and there is light

And the child sees the light and a thought forms that it is good, In time the child learns that there is such a thing as night and day.

This is how a child learns about the knowledge of god. Before god thought about night and day, we did not know that there was night and day

If we follow the life of the words, “night and day” and the meaning of the words, “Night and day” We would see a story form. A story spanning thousands of years, a story of a word translated, and modified. A story of the consciousness of man describing – God’s first thought.

A world created by thoughts

Instead of seeing reality

I live in a land of thoughts

Like a fish in a pond

I see only as far, as I have previously determined, that I can see

I keep the same names and labels for things

I limit my freedom with my conclusions

I dream only what I have previously seen

I lived in close quarters with my proud mind as it fabricated illusions hiding eternity, infinity, and possibility.

My mind, my jailer - so adept, so determined to it’s duty

If ever there was a time to cross over

If ever there was a time to un-tie these strings of thoughts

And the ropes, created by the strings, that tether me

Now, I need not step not forward, but upward

Now’s the time to re-evaluate what I have professed to be valuable

And surrender

Surrender to this force that pulls me

Surrender to this divine power, and it’s immense love

Love strong enough to free me

I orbit, spiraling around it’s truth

And daily I let go, to let go, I let go

Inspired by a Sahaja Yoga talk by Shri Mataji

God gives in such a way that we don’t even realize that he has given

“We” give what god has given us, and we think that we have done such a great thing.

We expect that others should see that we have given.

It is our work in this life to learn to give like god does

As Christ has said that the left hand should not even know what the right is doing.

A Poem

Who had made the grass?

Who has made the dew?

Who has made the sand and hills?

Who has made the sky blue?

Who has made the flowers?

Who has made the trees?

Who has made the oceans and it's waves?

Who has made the breeze?

Who has made the clouds?

Who has made fruit on trees?

Who has made insects and birds?

Who has made grains?

Who has made animals?

Who has made this day?

Who creates all these things?

And who.....

Gives them all away?

What God is like

Without the sun

What would I see

What warmth would I find

What life would I lead

God is like the sun

Without the earth

What should I walk upon

What plants would I eat

What place would I put my head

God is like the earth

Without my beating heart

What thought could my brain contemplate

What awareness of others would I have

What consciousness of myself would exist

God is like my beating heart

If I exist at all….. it is….. because of God

What important “thought” is greater than that
